Gotta actually try the professions to get a feel for which builds are solid. For instance, I never would have thought I'd want two Utility Stealths on my Thief, and here I am.

Warrior
i. Intentions and Build plan ii. Weapons and Armor iii. Skills and Traits iv. Pros/Cons v. Tips and Tricks
i. Intentions and Build Planning
The main Intention for this build was to create a high damage output warrior that specializes in WvW combat and quick map exploration. The build was created to allow the user to kill most things or people fairly quickly in order to allow the warrior to fight seemingly impossible odds and walk away the victor. This build is based on high power and high precision to focus on using critical hits to deal maximum damage.
ii. Weapons and Armor
Due to the focus of this build being damage, I choose to run a Exotic Berserkers Greatsword with the Superior rune of fire for that extra 1.5 to 2k damage every 10 seconds. My armor of choice is the Berserkers Draconic set to maximize power, precision, and crit damage. I did however choose to use only green accessories to save some money for the time being. My off-hand weapon can range from a gun for long range combat or dual axes for a dual weapon fight. Either my gun or one of the axes is running a Superior Sigil of Perception to gain an additional 250 precision by building 25 stacks off kills. At full stacks in a level 80 area, my stats are 95% crit chance *with fury active*, 84% crit damage boost, 3,343 power, 2,327 Armor, and 19k health.
iii. Skills and Traits
To gain additional precision I have set my skills to be all signets. I chose my signets for their passive benefits and I chose the Signet of Endurance for the active ability to remove all conditions on my warrior incase I need to make an escape or remove the conditions in order to live. For traits I Broke my points up into four categories focusing on the traits that boost either my damage, crit damage, or critical chance. Along with those traits I put 10 points in defense to give my warrior +200 toughness when conditions are applied, and I also used one slot to give my warrior 100% chance to rally in vengeance, assuring I stay in the fight longer and can walk out of the fight alive.
iv. Pros/Cons
Pros This build has one of the highest damage outputs in order to allow for quick easy fights. In WvW the warrior is able to spin right through a mob knocking down many targets instantly, leaving Hundred Blades to finish off the rest. This build is easily able to make three and four vs one fights simple (with proper targeting). As an exploration build, this build allows for the user to spin to win and destroy most targets with very few attacks allowing the user to finish a map in a fairly decent time.
Cons By making this build heavy damage oriented, you are sacrificing a decent amount of fluffyness some fighters have available. This issue can be easily fixed by carrying a set of armor that is more defense oriented for areas such as dungeons. Also due to this build being a very "in your face" build, ranged targets and constantly moving targets can pose a challenge to this build.
v. Tips and Tricks
In a pvp scenario, the biggest issue I have encountered is being able to get in range of groups without being targeted down too early. In order to fix this issue several steps can be taken to ensure your survival. First off, if at all possible farm up your 25 stacks of precision before you enter into a battle to ensure maximum crit chance. Once you have that done, caution in entering a battle is key. If at all possible wait for the enemy forces to either be distracted, or in combat, or find a location to hide until the force is right on top of you. If you can gather a close enough range before the fighting breaks out, then you can wipe out most of the combatants (mostly squishies and leather people) before they have a chance to truly burst you down. If you fall down, do not be afraid to go into berserker mode and keep fighting. It only takes a single kill to bring you back to life for good. One easy way to farm tokens in the battlegrounds is to be on the defending end of a castle. Simply step through the gate into the mob of enemies, hundred blades them down, spin back towards the gate into the keep, and walk through. Heal up, bring skills back off Cooldown, and repeat.

Necromancer en.gw2codex.com/build/19237-necromancer i. Intentions and Build plan ii. Weapons and Armor iii. Skills and Traits iv. Pros/Cons v. Tips and Tricks i. Intentions and Build Planning The whole purpose of this build was to be a necromancer that was strong enough that she could not be ignored while at the same time being tanky enough to walk through groups and come out alive. Therefore, i went into this build with an intention of building power, vitality, toughness, and condition damage. ii. Weapons and Armor With this build being high on damage and durability i was left at a bit of a dilemma on how to properly build the armor. Because I am also so cheap, I went ahead and farmed out ac runs to get the Power Vitality Toughness gear from there and then transmuted the look for the armor i wanted. I then bought basic green accessories for Power Vitality Condition Damage. *Note I did place crest of the Rabid in the accessories in order to try and beef up the defense a little*. On my armor I got 6 Superior Rune of the Undead which boosted my toughness and condition damage with 5% toughness being converted over to condition Damage. For my weapons i am running a scepter/dagger and staff build using mainly scepter/dagger for the condition stacking. iii. Skills and Traits When I made this build I did not find many traits that i was truly impressed with for this particular build. The traits that increased condition damage and flat damage however focused mainly in the trees of spite and curses which worked out beautifully to give me 300 more power and condition damage, with 100 left over to go towards toughness. Currently i am having issues opening the build linked above however the majority of the traits simply focused on applying a secondary condition when a first condition is applied or when you enemy hits certain levels of health missing. For my skills I generally run Plague Signet, Signet of Spite, and Epidemic for my 3 main and run Plague as my Elite Skill. The skills are meant to all come together for one massive aoe explosion of Conditions. I first use Plague Signet to gather all the conditions from my party to either send them at a single target or to use them to get more healing from Consume Conditions. After I either send the conditions over or consume them, I then use Signet of Spite on the same single target and immediately follow with Epidemic. This combo will take the 7 or 8 conditions that are on that single target you have been hitting and also applies all conditions to any enemies in the explosions radius. Afterwards, once all the mobs are on you, I drop Plague and simply move into the center of all the mobs and press 1,2, or 3 and watch the remaining survivors die. iv. Pros/Cons Pros The pros of this build are that as a cloth armor class, you are still able to put out the damage that is expected, yet you do not have to sacrifice survivability. You are able to dish out massive amounts of damage, over time, while being able to tank the mobs until they die. Cons This build is a very heavy single target build focusing that one person untill you either switch to your staff or are able to get a good set up to use the 7-0 combo. Early on this build will not be as strong as a minion master build, but late game this build will far exceed any MM out there. Another con of this build, and it is simply due to the available armor and accessories, while you have the health to keep yourself alive, there has yet to be made a condition damage, vitality, toughness set of armor or accessories. While the ptv armor works quite well I was forced to use Chrystola accessories and therefore my toughness is not quite at the level I hope to achieve as an end game result. keep your fingers crossed as those accessories will be what takes this build to the next level of fun. v. Tips and Tricks As earlier Stated you can use your skill set up to lay down massive condition damage to a mob of enemies without having to ever lose focus on the main target. This works extremely well when you target a massive boss, such as in orr, that has maxed out stacks of most every condition and then spread all the stacks over to the spawns to clear the board for a time. Another trick with necromancers in general comes in WvW or SPvP when you go up against a guardian. Focus the guardian down and constantly stack conditions on them until they are forced to use their skill to convert all conditions to buffs, then use Corrupt Boon to turn them right back into conditions. I have watched guardians nearly insta-drop from this trick in WvW. Likewise in WvW especially, be sure to remove Plague Signet from your skill bar because people have a tendency to let conditions stack on them and they will all come at you at a rate that is too much for you to heal or transfer away from you.
