gw2.luna-atra.fr/skills_tool/?lang=en&code=3470003nm2444345afpuf00f81l1p1q2428link to show everything what i usually do and this will all get better when i get the armor i want. but besides that i usually activate my elite and might signet before i go into a fight. then i use the greatsword throw then the rush skill. once i get to the enemy i use hundred blades which if i crit every hit i can get up to 11.5k dmg. then i use the spinning attack to get out of harms way. this usually results in around 18k of dmg once i get the gear i want im looking forward to around 23-25k. and if an enemy is still not dead after that i whip out dual axes and use my burst skill eviscerate which can hit up to 3-4k on a crit. Very fun build.

gw2.luna-atra.fr/skills_tool/?lang=en&code=3470003nm2444345aekpf0adtf81l1p1q2428this is an update to my traits they are spread out like this because i never saw a point in doing a 30 30 10 build because some traits are just worthless in my opinion so this way i get the most out of my build. 20 in power so i can get my greatsword trait which increases dmg by 10%. 25 in arms for that bettter crit chance and to gain might on crit hits with my greatsword as well as 20% cooldown reduction on mt greatsword skills. 15 in defense so that i have some sort of protection and so that i will regen health based on adrenaline lvl. 10 in discipline to increase crit dmg and to also reduce signet recharge by 20%. as of now im getting 18k dmg with just my hundred blades and im still missing 4 pieces of armor with this other four im hoping for 20k dmg with just hundred blades I love my warrior

The modified build you have in the second post is almost exactly what I've been running to get my warrior to 80. there are a few small exceptions: Traits: I intend virtually the same loadout 15/30/15/0/10 or 10/30/15/0/15. I've been tinkering with various parts of it since I hit 60 The faster weapon swap ability in Discipline, I've liked. It lets me get off flurry really quick (or it will again when i spec that line back up to 15. In Arms, I'm using Deep Strike, Deep Cuts and Rending Strikes to apply a lot of bleeding and vulnerability to my targets In Strength line i've been using Restorative Strength skills: I've been using signet of stamina since I hit lvl 40 or so instead of sig might. Combined with Restorative Strength, i can keep the nastier conditions from building up, but I'm considering taking a hit in precision and just speccing Shake it off as a stun break. My weapons have been Sword/Axe for my mellee set and rifle for ranged damage when i need to...not be tanking i don't use the greatsword as much as a lot of warriors because hundred blades locks me in place when i use it. The Adrenal Flurry Skill does pretty much the same job and with judicious use of whirling axe, i can get it off quite regularly. Well first off, directed at gen, are you using the axe/warhorn as a actual fighting tool or is it for the warhorn benefits? My question I guess is why not use mace as a controller while you use the warhorn buffs/debuffs and then use your f1 to stun, switch over to greatsword, and hundred blades whoever is there.
Now Melody, i would possibly recommend a high damage build specifically for leveling and for doing fast map exploration as a warrior. One of the reasons people choose greatsword is not just for the hundred blades, which is one of the nicest skills ever, but also for the spins and run skills. For instance I have both those skills on constant cooldown when going through orr as it allows me to run faster and if I ever wish to fight the mobs one quick spin through followed by hundred blades takes out the whole mob. I know your build isn't far from general's build but i am unsure of the changes. However, to get back on track, the biggest thing of a leveling build is a massive amount of damage to quickly finish the skill points and hearts and to allow you to run from point to point so you do not have to stop often.

uhhh i didnt run axe/warhorn it was axe/axe but the secondary wep swap really doesn't matter for this but the warhorn would be nice for the extra speed buff

The reason i went sword/axe is for the bleeding and vulnerability stacks. i've been able to reliably get 10-13 bleed stacks on targets with that set and like I said, it doesn't lock me into place when using one of my two aoe damage skills. When i can, I have been able to get over 20 stacks in solo play. Dual Strike for Fury, then Whirling for 15x hits in 3.25 seconds, followed up by Flurry reliably gives stacks in the hi teens, and often in the low 22-23. haven't yet gotten a full 25 stacks solo but...the health bars drop fast with that much bleeding. They drop faster with those skills than with GS which means either the damage is higher or...i'm playing my warrior wrong which is very very VERY possible

It's easy to get 25 stacks of bleed solo play with warrior sword it only lasts for a sec or two but you have to use the burst skill. But i find it hard that the sword + bleeds is dropping the health faster cause when i was running GS thru Cursed Shore i was dropping mobs before i could even get 100b final strike in
