I found this build/writeup online the other day and respec'd my ele to fit it (as best I could the gear isn't an exact match). But regardless went into WvW last night with it and found it to be a great experience. I had not played D/D before mainly sticking to S/D but the mobility with D/D in WvW makes a huge difference along with the vit/tough/healing this build has in it's gear.
The build may at first seem to lack damage dealing ability but the fury & might boons generated through the sigil of battle and air 1 traits compensate nicely. Plus full arcane tree and the armor runes chosen keep those boons on you for a good period of time - and perma swiftness is great in WvW as well
I found the build to be fun and the write up helpful as well in understanding how to best make it work. So for any new ele's out there looking for a build to follow, I'd recommend checking this one out.
