Todays chapter in the IRL adventures of Tak and Kai:
Tak and Kai were riding their Pack Dolyak from Ferris State University Keep to home tower. On the way there they ran into the Henge of Denravi zerg! The zerg stole all of their gold and they couldn't buy feed for their dolyak. T_T Halfway home their poor dolyak died and tak and kai were stranded in the middle of Frostgorge sound. of course they had forgotten to bring their chat devices with them on their journey. They had no silver to pay for a waypoint so their only option was to hike 2 miles to the "friends house" point of interest in hopes someone their would assist them.
So they began their 2 mile journey, it was extremely cold in frostgorge today, -5 degrees. As they walked they talked about their many adventires across Tyria until they heard a noise! "What's that?!" asked kai. "Hmm it sounds like we are approaching a pack of Frostbrood Hounds," said Tak. "We are going to have to use our steath and speed bursts to get past them," Kai said. So they approached the home of the hounds, they then froze in the stealth field for a few seconds waiting for the buff to kick in. As soon as they had the stealth buff Kai activated her speed buff and off they ran just barely making it out of range before it ran out. ( yes we really stopped IRL and did this)
Tak and kai continued on their journey.. their legs and feet were numb with cold but on they trecked. Along the way they saw a strange hooded figure approaching on the opposite side of the trail. He was a very shadey looking fellow obviously a thief. He steared clear of Tak and Kai, terrified by their fearsome presence. He was obviously a Gates of madness player, we could tell because he was such a wuss.
Past the ravine that leads to earthshake waypoint and the spawn point of Jormag they traveled (no joke found these places IRL) before finally arriving at the POI "A friends house" Relieved they warmed themselves as they awaited Aren to send them some gold to waypoint back to home tower.
What an eventful COLD day for Tak and Kai.
