I just wanted to mention my cheap trick (yea, I like them) for finishing the events for your daily. I leave the last part of it the events. Then at the end of the night, if I haven't finished my daily, I go to Queensdale and sit on the pipes. there are events constantly, and they are timed. I can hit a few guys, and go do some thing. 4 minutes later I get credit for the event, and the next one starts almost immediately. It's an easy way to finish events if you are finishing up for the night. I'm sure many of you have other cool ideas, maybe you can share them. Also, do you think it's a good idea to do almost all of the daily on any toon but let a new low toon get credit for completing it, or are the rewards much better for the higher lvl toon? thanks, Ketel

I personally like killing dolyaks in WvW since they constantly spawn. ANother good place in queensdale is down by the farm that always gets attacked by bandits. There are about 3 events there that tend to start up every ten minutes ish.

I agree with the effectiveness of Yak-slapping. I also always try to get the experience on the highest toon I have who isn't level 80. Helps them get to 80 faster so I can then start working on the next one.

These are great suggestions. In Queensdale do you even have to hit anyone to get credit? Or can you just be in the event area?

you have to do something to benefit the event. So no you don't neccessarily have to kill anything, in some events you may have to pick stuff up from off the ground (ie: parts to a cannon they're building). In most events it will be easiest to help kill things though.

Awesome Vecc. Never thought of doing this on an alt. Tbh I always completed it on my main to make sure he got the rewards, but the rewards are account bound and the experience would help the alt level faster. Yak killing is a great idea as well! Thanks for this guys!

Now I'm not entirely sure what this "daily event" stuff is, but since in the last week I've been working on 4 toons to try and figure out what I really want to stick with, I've been gettting a ton of "daily" achievement stuff and like my lowbie lvl 3 Elementalist was getting a ton of them it seemed like.

If you open your hero window by pressing H and click on the lowest icon on the left side of the window, you'll see your daily achievement progress. To complete it you will need to kill 15 different types of enemies, 60 total enemies, gather 20 items, and finish 5 dynamic events.
The rewards are usually a ton of XP, some silver, a jug of Karma, and a mystic coin.
Finishing the daily will help you level a whole lot faster. Hope this helps!

Oh so that's what it's all about, and apparently any toon works to achieve this.
Nice... thank ya!
