Salutations, Jadites!
I, Rachel, will be your newest member! I am not sure where to start for introductions, so let’s do it this way … * waves a magic wand*
Quick Gaming History: I was recruited by Stars in the GWII forums while posting for potential new guilds. My gaming history mostly comprises of LoL and WoW, of which I had joined at the end of Burning Crusade and had left shortly after Cataclysm. While playing WoW I had met my previous guild. Several of us have become lifelong friends and have traveled from game to game with one another. Being a multi-gaming community, however, has taken its toll on us. After many years of gaming with one another it’s become evident that our clan has split permanently between different games, mostly between WoW and GWII. Our chapter in GWII has become very low in activity (not to mention lonely) and I felt as though it was time to make new friends while keeping the old ones. Jaded is the second guild I’ve ever been a part of, so one can imagine how extensively I had to research to try and find ‘the right guild’, so please be nice! ;) I also have a two friends, Dami and Heather, who are interested in joining as well. Dami would like to wait till the end of Wintersday to make a final decision and possible transfer, so we might be seeing him in January. As for Heather, she just got better internet speed and wants to buy GWII for Christmas. :)
Fun Facts:
~ I only play as one character … ever. Sad, I know, but I get too attached to that character. I’m like the Highlander: “There can be only one!”
~ I am 23 years of age and am a crazy sort of person who loves many things, such as the following: faith, family, friends, mah baby puppy, art, fashion, anime, museums, writing, reading, crazy hair styles and colors, DnD, food, 80’s and techno music, antiques, history/culture, and – of course – gaming. I love and follow the TV series ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ – yes, zombie and ponies…deal with it. I also have a self-made tattoo on my back of a pair of mechanical angel wings (steam punk ftw!).
~ While being a part of WoW I was extremely close to achieving the title “Insane in the Membrane” (one of the rarest and hardest titles to achieve) but was unfortunately unable to finish it before my permanent departure. This goes to show that I will work towards a goal no matter how insane it is. ;) I am currently working towards my first legendary, the greatsword Sunrise.
~ I will graduate college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts as of this Saturday (Dec. 15, ’12)!! I’ve majored in Studio Arts, with an emphasis in drawing, and minored in Design Arts. My goal is to become a concept artist for a gaming company! It’s so scary not being a part of school anymore … but I’m excited at the same time. :P
