Its a zippy build at level 30. I'd be interested in other eles experiences with builds like this one. Heavy use of PBAoE in the dagger means that use of autoattack in Ui is no use. vitality/healing and toughness on clothing, i'm trying condi damage on jewlery

Further modifications for solo play in PvE. D/D is naughty in PvP; you're bouncing around so much most players cant keep up

I'm no Ele expert by any stretch, but I am confused about your insistence on taking Zepher's Boon and Elemental Shielding as traits. I think you'll be disappointed by the number of Auras you actually create, but Rae may know better than me about that.

I've got two castable auras with d/d in air and water and a third with combo finsiher if I drop ring+use Mag Grasp for my leap (and I have 6 seconds to pop that in base for the ring of fire) I can squeeze out a 4th in Magnetic Aura through runes once I hit higher levels; superior earth, which has a LOT of nice stats on an ele if you want them to be other than glass canon. But you're right, those are the two trait slots i'd level last 70-80 because until i can self apply all 4 auras, its not as useful. It's still useful because i have 3 auras, but stil... The second build has been modified slightly using bolt to heart and gain armor earth at 50% (does the cooldown on cantrips drop when using that in the trait? I doubt it but that would be naughty ). Honestly though, all my stats are in fire water and arcana at these levels. I have 2 in earth magic atm and, come level 50 I want to have tier 2 unlocked.

I'm about to head out the door but I'll make sure to take a look at the build later and comment on it. what type of armor and runes are you using btw?

its a good question Rae. I'm not 1005 i think I'd like power/vit/crit or power/precision/crit. Increasing condi damage will more effectively increase with stack and duration than trusty carions.maybe sprinkle in some healing on the jewlery but the weps i want +5% crit chance on both daggers (btw, hit 50 and went straight back to d/d; its lotsa fun atm) I'm bucking for survival less than damage without turning her into an earth tank. As i level, just drops and some crafting are what I've been wearing; hit the TP a few times when i'm in a rush and a few minor monks from AC (ty Zooey et al) mentioned superior earth because of the nice extra aura you get, when I pop 80--which won't be too long from now mehopes. Kali is nowhere as downright deadly against higher level mobs as Faith and the horde was, but she's jumped 10 levels in less than 2 days. And i'm doing my darndest NOT to be a reclusive leveler. its fun playin with ya'll even when vec yells that i'm reverbing him in vent Still, its a habit hard to break and i'm just used to running solo so i don't "burden my guild" with minutia. *shrug* did a little WvW last night and oh my goodness did i tick some people off. the D/D spec was like trying to chase a 5 year old around a bouncy house. Got 3 kills from persistent players when the rest of their groups just said to heck with it and ran off. Then i chased the groups down AGAIN and bouncy bouncy bouncy aoe all over them. i think the Borlis Pass folk hate me. Trouble against some caster clases and thieves but expierience--and attune to water pops one condition--should smooth that out in pvp play areas--see link below for the modification. But I have to cry now. i thought I was making a pretty original build here, modifying the one i saw with daphoenix. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sg2eQi3enPQ4 months old. i feel like a nub But even if I didn't think it up first ITS STILL FUN!

Can't really find much fault with your build, it looks solid. Cantrip builds are definitely interesting and the aura mastery you threw into it is powerful as well. The biggest downside to daggers has always been mobility so cantrips is one of the best ways to go when you're using them. The only thing I would do differently is use the glyph heal as it's a more powerful instant heal on top of applying aura's to go with the rest of your build, however signet can be a very useful throughput heal with daggers when you're spamming your number 1 skills. Well put together.

Nice build I just started playing my ele again and I am running a similar build but I go 0-10-0-30-30. gw2skills.net/editor/?fEAQJAoYhMmmbxR5gjDAkHnYCLiCPUeMTO2ARae, I was wondering why you feel daggers have the least mobility? With this build you can get perma swiftness and RTL is nice too. edit...notice you link da phoenix build...thats the build I am using right now lol

Seeing all those boons on my bar when I'm in combat gives a false sense of security. Working my thief next while i save up money or farm for the very expensive runes I've chosen. @rae: i'm also very curious as to your mobility comment. Can you expound?
