I really do advise using a build generator such as: en.gw2codex.com/build/generator/It makes feedback much more intuitive, since we can check out the other options on the fly. Edit: Admittedly, I'm not familiar with that build generator, but I couldn't get the one I've used in the past to translate to English.... meh. Just a brief overview from what I saw: Looks like you're trying to run a Trapper build. Rampager's Gear is very squishy, but you have 30 Wilderness Survival and Barkskin so you should be okay. I would recommend swapping out Sunspirit for Flame Trap/or Viper Nest. Sharpening Stones is an alright way to apply bleeds, but, again, since you're investing so many traits into Traps, I recommend more traps yet again. One thing to notice is that you don't have a Stun Break. Ranger's have a couple, Lightning Reflexes being the best. But you also aren't running Quickening Zepher, one of our best skills. With the Shortbow, you can stack up bleeds really quickly by flanking, and then using Zepher. Which brings me to another point. You lack 5points in Beastmastery. This is generally considered to be almost necessary for Rangers. It takes a Ranger and gives him the most easily accessed Quickness in the game. With no drawbacks. There are a number of generators used in these forums. Find one you like and I'll give more specific feedback on trait options. Happy Rangering

interesting modifications on the standard trap build. rangers are, so far, the only class I've ever specced 30/30 into and not exploded. en.gw2codex.com/build/22245-mels-mods a small tweek of your build that I'd advise you to try if you find yourself too squishy I sawpped steady focus in because as a trapper you shouldn't be doing a lot of dodge rolling at the start of combat, so your focus will be more on finishing mobs. Vec, he's using hide in plain sight instead of a stunbreak skill but i'd suggest empathic bond for condition removal instead of bark skin. your mileage may vary in pve, but it was always the conditions that killed me when i drew agro. between a well placed spike trap and judicious use of crip shot, i could keep the mobs off me most of the time. definitely a must for pvp. i agree with Vec about beastmastery. Free quickness is sweet. Obviously, you want bears in both pet slots. You need pet tanks as they are basically out on their own. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwkY2FjEzAk a good descriptor for why he has everything set up the way he does. I'm not a fan of pure trap builds, however. if I'm going to stack bleeds and spec crit, I'm going to go for this: en.gw2codex.com/build/22247-my-ranger-to-80This was how I got my ranger to 80. used traps judiciously but My main damage dealer in PvE was my pet. The increased precision on the cat line pets meshes well with a crit build.
