I'm packing to go camping at the moment, but I'm also packing for my Thanksgiving trip. I figure it's a reasonable time to create this thread for all holidays.  What are your plans for [insert holiday here]? Are you seeing family? Staying home? I'm curious I'll be out of town from Tuesday till Saturday this week going to visit my family. It'll be the first time our extended family has been assembled for a holiday in over 10 years. ;D That means no GW2, but I'll swing by the forums when I can. |

Oh my we are losing vec for an extended period of time. Im actually not to sure what ill have planned for thanksgiving my grandma has been sick and i dont know if she will be feeling well to do anything.
On another note i hope you have a great time with your family. I know i always enjoy seeing my family there are always stories to be told.

I work in retail so..yeah....going anywhere is out of the question. Thanksgiving is eating, sleeping, then going back to work that night for Black Friday, although technically it'll be Black Thursday. Upside, I get to watch the crazies come out who push past each other, play tug of war with that discounted TV and who'll literally steal the cart out of your hands right before lining up for an hour like a herd of cows. Black Friday is intense. When I workd at Kohl's I got lucky and was put on cart duty and then restock duty as the rush began to subside, so I didn't actually have to deal with many crazies.
Anyway, I'm off to the airport. See you all soon. ;D

Happy belated Turkey Day all! I got to cook for seventeen people lol... this is my 4th year hosting and they all keep coming back so I think they kinda like the food.. lots of cousins who are gaming geeks took over my console games and the rest compete in the yard games or nap in front of the tv. So happy to read that you were getting with family after 10 years, V! How was it? Naieyah, I commend you for being a black Friday worker! I could never be a black Friday shopper... too much chaos! |
