haha ya i dont know what im doing much either when it comes down to a thief since my thief is only lvl 11 right now. but my idea when build this was picking traits that would boost my damage a good amount and utility skills that would immob so i could run around and get back shots on people and also drop long posion on them which will also give me might from a trait.

Something that you should toy around with is the idea of running Dagger/Pistol instead of Dagger/Dagger. It gives you two blinds, one of which is an AoE and the other of which is a Shadowstep that costs 3(?) initiative.
The main damaging skill from daggers comes from one of three sources: Heartseeker for crit builds, Death Blossom for Condition builds, and Cloak and Dagger+Backstab for stealth builds. If you're not focusing on Condition or stealth, you're missing out on the reason for an off-hand dagger anyway.
That being said, Backstab builds are great.

There is a fairly viable condition Dagger/Dagger build based on Leaping Death Blossom, in which you stack condition damage and durability, and then wear Runes of the Undead.
The idea is to get quick stacks of bleed up while dodging evading.
Since you can get 2-3 stacks of bleed via caltrops on dodge, and then another few with LDB, you roll through them, LDB over them, roll through them, etc until they die from 20+ stacks of bleed.
Works well, but if your foe has any condition removal, you're SOL.
