I’d like to extend an offer to anyone who is interested in trying out World versus World to feel free to whisper to me in-game (Raijin Warstorm or my warrior Jaeis) or post on here and we can chat and meet up and run around together. It can be intimidating to go in not knowing a thing about it and by yourself (been there, done both) and since we’re family here, no need to do either of those as we have quite a few helpful people who like to WvW.
I took my little level 26 ranger in (a huge Norn ranger who even today makes a great target…oops) and was the dreaded pug (I belonged to a tiny guild of friends who had no interest in it) that latched on to green dots on the map then observed and fought and didn’t look at chat. I ended up becoming friends with a pure WvW guild commander who seemed charmed by my complete cluelessness, but willingness to jump in and (die) do what needed to be done and he patiently mentored me in his broken English. I sorely miss him, but plan to pay that forward in my colorful English
I will caution you though….you may get a very sick addiction to it like me and few others in here….but ohmahgerd the RUSH! Besides, everyone should try everything in Tyria at least once, if not until 5 am the next day….ahem.
