Alliance Official Website: www.darkhavenunited.com
As many of you know, we have been working on a collective effort to gather the guilds together in order to make Darkhaven a much more coordinated and efficient fighting force in the WvW arena.
Yesterday, a meeting was held for many of the Guild leaders all across Darkhaven in regards to this alliance, and I am pleased to announce that it was a major success.
Despite our losses not only within the servers population itself, and on the battlefield the morale across the guilds is very high, hopeful of a new era for Darkhaven, and Jaded to lead the way. So without further or do, I want to be the first one to welcome you to this new hope for Darkhaven, we should be proud to not only to be members of this alliance, but members of Jaded, the guild that actually got the ball rolling.
Some of you may be thinkin' woopty-do, whats the big deal? The big deal is this....
There are a total of 15 guilds who have officially stated they will be participating in this alliance, this list is as follows:
1. Jaded [Jade] - Led by Veccu, Shira Nolar, and Raelin
2. One for All [OFA] - Led by Acium
3. Vindictive [MEAN] - Led by Tryden, Sigma Ix and Stomp.
4. Non Verbal Persuasion [NvP] - Led by Neural Dissonance
5. Syndicate of Shadows [SoS] - Led by Marcellus Quintus
6. Where Victory Waits [WvW] - Led by Thelewulf
7. Mortus Adventus [MoRt] - Led by Sarithil
8. Synergy Consortium [SynC] - Led by Piccolo Sama
9. Brazilian Legion [BRL] - Led by Killerelemental
10. Nuclear [NUKE] - Led by Yer (Offbranch of BRL)
11. Coven of the Raven [TRA] - Led by Kat Quinx
12. Saints and Sinners [SaS] - Led by (To be determined)
13. KORE - Led by Thore Strongside
14. PD - Led by Togo
15. OP - Led by Andrew Colortus
This is just the list of confirmed guilds, there are many more that are interested but have not given an official notification that they are in.
Most of the guilds and leaders you have probably seen in WvW or run into, they are all fairly large with an active member base of 50+. With that being said, between these guilds and ourselves we literally have an army at our disposal waiting for the chance to redeem Darkhavens name.
MoRt has given the alliance a 500 slot ultra band Teamspeak server, so if you don't have teamspeak, it may be a good idea to download it. We also have been given admin rights to the first alliances official website, we're still working on wiping it clean and starting new, but this will be the "base of operations" for this alliance. If you'd like go ahead and register on the alliance official website, (AOW) I would love to see more Jadites showing an active interest in making this thing work. Now, were going to get into what the meeting covered...
Between all the guild leaders we have all collectively decided that commanders and guild leaders will meet every Friday, Sunday, and Wednesday at 5:00 server time, which is 5:00 PST, to discuss strategy, fix strategy or recap on what was done right, or what was done wrong. This isn't a binding contract or anything, do not feel as if you are obligated to be there every time. We established the fact that not every guild on that list is not a hardcore WPvP guild, and it was understood across all leaders. However, if you wish to show up, and give your input it would be more than welcomed, different perspectives are worth their weight in gold. Due to organizational purposes however, it may be easier to discuss this with the commander of the guild so he/she could take it to the others and talk about it with the rest of the commanders without 40-50 people trying to talk about their own strategies at the same time in the same room. We want your input, and we want you to be an active participating member in this alliance, do not feel as if your opinion does not matter.
As far as when we will participate in WvW, we have decided that we will meet every day at 5:00 PST, starting soon to gather our forces and make a stand in the WvW arena, again this is not a binding contract; you do not have to be there every single time.
So to recap and to make it short:
- The leaders will get together on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm PST to discuss strategy, you are welcome to attend and give your input.
- We will collect our forces at 5:00 pm PST everyday to make a push in WvW, you can leave whenever you wish. You are not bound to anything. In the end, this is a game, and our goal here first and foremost is to HAVE FUN.
We have established some rules between the guild leaders that I will briefly explain in this upcoming part, however I almost don't feel the need because I know Jadites would never break any of these.
- Respect; Every guild will show a mutual respect for all guilds and all members, regardless if you are very casual, or the hardcore PvP'er. We may have different letters next to our names, but we are all on the same team; Darkhaven.
- Never give up ; We will not win every fight, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but throwing in the towel makes us no better than the guilds who transferred servers because things got difficult.
- Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but if it's a negative one, keep it to yourself. Nothing is more detrimental to morale than a venomous comment. You may not agree with every strategy we make, that goes for me as well, however we should be willing to put down our personal grievances to make sure that this team succeeds.
- Have fun! This is a game, and although some of us take PvP more seriously than others, in the end its to have a good time. Nothing is more satisfying than working together to take a server that many believed had no hope, to the top.
Jadites I know for a fact that this guild will have no problems with these rules, and i'm sure many of you are just as relieved to read this, as V and I were to hear it. I want to thank you before hand for your excitement and optimism in this endeavor, it was a real motivator when I felt like many guilds had given up hope.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Stay strong, and fight on Jaded! See you on the field.
P.S. For those of us who love WPvP, get familiar with these guild tags, their members and their leaders. We'll be fighting along side them more often than not.
