Hey guys, I have seen many posts from people interested in PvP and willing to join up. So I figured I would make this poll to see where everyone stands and to figure out where our interests lie. I would hope to make a section of the guild big enough to allow our guild to claim forts and have a Jaded presence in both PvPs.

I'd really like to put together a group to do some Tournaments in SPvP.
It's a fair bit more competitive than regular SPvP, since both sides usually use voice chat and have assigned roles.

The spvp is reminiscent of the gw1 pvp styles. I personally enjoy the concept of seiges and army vs army combat

I've been enjoying WvW and look forward to going out as a group with guildies. Had a ball completing that WvW jumping puzzle with Rae, V, and Leet! Since then, I've been going out solo with the goal of world completion. Needless to say, I haven't completed the world because I'm easily distracted (shinies!) and am completely enjoying getting caught up in the battle of WvW.
I have tried sPvP only once and even though I do need more practice/experience, I would like to try it with guildies..

I think we should put together more WvW Jumping Puzzle groups.

By all means I am down for that V. I have figured out a couple of tricks that might cut alot of the puzzle out.

The EB one or the Borderland ones? The instance Zooey is talking about happened in the Darkhaven Borderlands. We only had 4 people, so our own borderlands was the safest bet. There is a trick with cutting off a couple of jumps in the Borderland ones if you take the path that goes by the Vault first: you then jump down to one of the floating platforms and don't have to ever jump through the waterfall a second time. If your trick is for EB Puzzle, I'm all ears.

All mine are for EB puzzle, for one since i have done it enough i can get my mesmer to 30 and just port people up, there is the board i told you about, if you have a theif with the bow skill to port to the shot you can skip alot of the first area by ignoring the 2 pillars after the indiana jones trap and edging along the rock face then shoot the arrow to the platform where the trap levers are, mesmers also have a trick i just don't know what, plus mesmer portal makes the dark room super easy, and the colusseum room.

I would def be down for either sPVP or WvW. I've never done WvW but it sounds like a blast.

Did you guys hear that they recently added stealth shrines to the EB puzzle?
Some players have completed the whole jumping puzzle fully stealth-ed. From what I've gathered... there are 3 stealth shrines and the stealth buff is timed. Players can also make it through the dark room stealth-ed as long as the Halloween back item is equipped as it gives off a bit of light.
I guess it would take some learning of the puzzle and knowing the jumps first. I like that it has the possibility to eliminate griefing for some and let players achieve puzzle completion.

Actually those shrines have been in the puzzle since the beginning from what I understand. V, Shira and I have made good use of them at the very least

Cool, I hadn't realized that! The one time we went as guildies, I can't remember seeing them.. but then, it was a little bit chaotic in there Would like to go again, hint hint...

Yeah, we went there specifically to kill people. We barely past the halfway point in terms of finishing it. Who needs to be invisible when you're chopping off people's faces?
