Necro and Thief look like the exact same as last game. Was looking at maybe a warrior class or engineer for their benefits

Have you seen death shroud? www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLy8zdpY28gIt's the green bar on top of your weapon skills on the left of your health. You build up Life Force with your skills, and the green bar for Death Shroud is essentially a second health pool. You can pretty much go in and out of the two health pools at will. I thought you'd really like that. |

Hmm I might make one at some point but I am still a little timid in going necro again as a main. That didn't do so awesome last game

I feel you. I must have made and deleted four or five necros in GW. Minion Mastering was dull, and other builds were significantly weaker.

Looking at either Warrior or a Guardian I like heavy armor and dealing heavy damage

I would definitely recommend Warrior then. They can both be defensive, offensive, or supportive, but the core mechanic of Warriors is called Burst Skills. You can imagine what that implies.
That's right. Big, bursty damage.

I am going to run an elementalist or ranger. Don't know what race yet though. Possibly Silvari, possibly human.

Run them both, especially if you have the headstart, a few hours is a decent amount of time to find out what you have a taste for. I personally liked elementalists better but Ranger have a wide toolkit of cool stuff.

I think I will actually try playing a Norn elementalist. I was reading up on the Norns and i really like their mythos.
